An opportunity for players in Year 7 - Year 13

LEAP Hockey, run by former Optimist Ross Gilham-Jones, are looking to support the next generation of young Optimists. Ross, who attended the Harvey Grammar School, played for the Ops at the start of his hockey career on his route to being part of the England and Great Britain setup. He is now based in the US where his company Leap Hockey work with players who want to take their game to the next level. They have offered 20 x Leap Hockey On-Demand Memberships as part of an exciting competition open to Optimist members in School Years 7-13.

Leap On-Demand gives you access to a world-class coach 24/7 and includes;
(1) Step by step video tutorials teaching you both fundamental and advanced skills.
(2) Over 500 hockey workouts focusing on all the different parts of your game.
(3) Five new workouts added to the library every week.
(4) Collections on every part of your game;
(a) Passing
(b) Receiving
(c) Ball Carrying
(d) Elimination
(e) Defending
(f) Goal Scoring

To enter the competition, please email your child’s name, school year and contact email address to and they will be entered into the draw. The closing date for entries is 7pm on Sunday 3rd December, and the draw will take place in the following week. The 20 winners will be contacted via the email addresses provided on the entry.
