The ladies 7s were up against a very young, speedy, skillful and energetic Knole Park 2s.  Although they were playing with less players they scored 2 quick goals within the first 10 minutes and we had to regroup and focus on working together as a team.  Although they continued to move the ball around us and run around all over the place we managed to stop any further goals until the end of the first half when they went 3 - 0 up.  We went out into the second half with most of the team including the juniors hoping they would run out of steam.  With some great play by Isla C in the middle we managed to get the ball up to the forwards and Amelia H scored twice. Unfortunately Knole Park scored a further two goals to put them 5 - 2 up at the end. The defenders had to work hard and player of the match went to Romily C for her great tackles and breaking their attacks down. Aphra O also played her first ladies game with a great performance for the 7s.  It was a fab team performance by everyone, some of the older ladies may be aching tomorrow trying to keep up with the youngsters!
