Result: FOHC Men’s Development 8ths Development 1-6 Gore Court 5.
It was the first senior hockey game for Herbert Simpson, William Rockall, and Robert Franks. Herbert did a great job in midfield giving the opposition a good run for their money. Gore Court were a full senior side, with 16 year old juniors, and their extra pace lead to the first goal. William Rockall, Robert Franks took over defensive duties from Brain Murrill, and Charlie Rouse. They did not hold back on tackling their opponents. However Gore Court’s experienced juniors scored twice before half time.

Folkestone started the second half well and got into the game, and won a penalty short, from which Woz scored. The eighths played well with Phil Clapham Centre midfield leading the junior’s defence, with Paul Burton Isaac Stone in Support and Oisin Doyle keeping goal. Forwards Warwick Waitt, Clive Styles, Phil Gascoyne, Herbert Simpson and Thomas Waitt worked hard for possession, but the pressure took its toll and Gore Court scored three more goals.
