Ops entered the match in a new formation, eager to make an impact. Their strength and determination showed early on as the new system created numerous goal-scoring opportunities in the first half. While they couldn't find the back of the net, the fast-paced game kept the intensity exceptionally high. As the opposition grew frustrated, the match became increasingly physical and difficult.

Following a brief warning from the umpires for both captains to respect the whistle, the opposition pushed back with renewed determination. Ops lost their shape at the start of the second half, conceding a string of dangerous attacks and short corners. However, Player of the Match Stafford anchored the defence with a series of spectacular saves, keeping a clean sheet alongside a resolute defensive line. Late in the game, Ops managed to build up a counterattack to win two short corners of their own. Their hard work paid off when Andrews successfully flicked the ball into the net. Ops carried on working hard and held their positions well for the last 5 minutes of the game not giving the opposition an opportunity to build an attack of their own.
