Ops went to their first away game of the season preparing for any surprises the match might bring. The team hit the jackpot when Miki stepped in as goalkeeper! She brought incredible energy, bonded instantly with everyone, and worked hard to support her new teammates.

Ops started strong, showing great positioning and crisp passes to build the play up the field. However, it quickly became apparent that the opposition would not give up easily, and their tough defensive work kept Ops working hard.

Although Ops had many opportunities through open play and multiple attacking short corners, it was not easy to break through the opposition’s fast and strong defence—especially with the ball sticking to the pitch. Despite Folkestone’s efforts, the opposition managed to break through and slot a goal in.

Falling a goal behind did nothing to dampen Ops' spirit as they continued to press high up the pitch. The opposition also tried their luck at piercing the Ops attack to build up a play of their own; however, thanks to awesome tackles and strong passes by the player of the match, Janna, they could not get past Folkestone’s defence.

Through great transfers by the defenders and smart passes in the midfield, the ball was driven up the pitch to the forwards, who kept trying to find holes in the opposition's defence. Eventually, their hard work paid off when Izzy managed to slot the ball into the net. With only ten minutes left on the clock, both Ops and the opposition attempted to build attacks to establish the winner. However, neither side managed to find another goal, and the first away game of the season ended in a hard-fought draw.
