The ladies 5s home game against Gravesend 2s was very scrappy and we struggled to play our game to start with.  We managed to create numerous chances but the Gravesend goalie made some great saves to stop us scoring.  The continued Ops pressure eventually resulted in a tap in from Hannah Wallis following a short corner. We continued to press in the second half with some lovely runs from player of the match Lilly-Ella Gore but the Gravesend defence held strong.  Lucy Stafford played her first senior ladies game in goal for the 5s and although she didn’t see a lot of the ball she controlled the defence well.  A solid 1 - 0 win keeping us 2nd in the league.
