The girls of the Ops seals all arrived ready to go on a soaking wet Sunday in Sevenoaks. In spite of the driving rain all the girls were keen to get onto the pitch.

They played in 4 games, the first of which was a close 1-0 loss against the home side, Sevenoaks Cheetah's.

In the second the girls found their rhythm a little more against Tunbridge Wells 2's. They started to make great use of the space on the pitch meaning they were playing further up the pitch than in the first game, well inside their opponents half. Some great driving forward by Lily and Sophie set up Florrie perfectly for the only goal of the game, giving the Seals their first ever win at 1-0.

The seals third game ended in an unfortunate 1-0 loss, unfortunate because the girls defended so well for the whole game!

The final game of the day was a triumphant 1-0 win against Sevenoaks Lions but could have been more after the seals had a goal ruled out due to the ball touching a foot. Some great defending from Holly, Jess, Edith and Rosie kept Folkestone's goal nice and safe even in the closing stages when the opposition pressed for an equaliser! The moment of the match came when Holly fizzed a dead ball into Lily who trapped it expertly before driving into the opposition D. The ball made its way to Florrie who slotted home before taking off in a celebration reminiscent of the ladies Euro's final!
