The Folkestone U10 Girls Dolphins faced a challenging tournament in the cold at Three Hills on Sunday morning. Ops battled well throughout the matches with Tunbridge Wells and Ashford, having the confidence to pass the ball around and cause the opposition trouble by using the width. Cheered on by their families, and the new squad mascot Derek The Dolphin, Ops claimed a victory against Burnt Ash with a rocket of a strike from Darcey Rowe who scored the only goal of the game. Despite facing tougher challenges today, the girls didn't let their heads drop and were all able to identify the areas that they want to improve over the coming weeks. We look forward to going again in our next fixture in early January.
