The Girls U16s fielded a team for the first time this season without some of their senior players but this was a performance to be proud of. Against a very strong and experienced Canterbury side they never gave up, with all players giving everything they had. They grew as the match went on and although they were 2-0 down at half time, a strong second half saw only 1 more goal conceded. A mention for Lilly-Ella Gore who made her Ops debut today and to Maddie T who ran the bench.
