The girls started brightly dominating possession without threatening the goal. Sevenoaks then scored with their first foray into the Optimist half to take the lead. Alice went close with a shot that ran agonisingly across the face of the goal. However, not to be denied she made it 1-1 within a minute after some good play in the D. Optimist then repelled the Sevenoaks attacks with some strong defending from Jade and Edith. It was soon 2-1 when Lottie finished strongly after some good play on the right hand side from Bobbie. With no further clear cut chances the final score was Optimist 2 Sevenoaks Lightning 1

FO v Sevenoaks Storm
Optimist started on the front foot once again dominating possession but failing to make the breakthrough until Sophie scored from close range to put the girls 1-0 up. Alice then made it 2-0 from a rebound after Lottie’s goal bound effort was well saved on the line. A few minutes later Eva set up Alice to make it 3-0 and the chances kept on coming with Elsie the next one to go close. Sevenoaks attacks were limited but when they did get into the Optimist D Edith was there to thwart them. Alice then secured her hatrick after some good team play from a long corner.

Optimists v Tunbridge W B

The game started with both teams enjoying a series of attacks, however it was Alice who made the breakthrough as the Optimists went one up. One soon became two with Alice notching her 6th goal of the tournament. At the other end Jade, Eva and Bobbi were defending resolutely keeping the Tunbridge attackers at bay. After a series of Optimist attacks Tunbridge pulled one back with a well taken goal from the edge of the D. Optimists then pushed forward to regain their two goal advantage and were rewarded with a goal from Sophie after good work from Alice. More chances were created without troubling the score line.

Optimists v Tunbridge W A
Optimists were the first to go close after a good move involving Lottie and Bobbi ended with Alice going close. Alice then continued her scoring streak putting the girls one up after 7 minutes. As the game continued all players tackled with vigour resulting in very few Tunbridge attacks. Numerous chances were created but to no avail.
