FOHC U14 boys vs Tunbridge wells - national cup round of 24

Ops looked organised and structured in the first quarter, allowing for some good attacking play from the ops boys. This pressure resulted in a well won short corner and a strike by Alfie was deflected aptly by brother, Will, to make it 1-0 at quarter time.
T wells came into the 2nd quarter with added pressure and better ball movement, allowing them to get a goal back. Both teams going into the half time break with 1 goal a piece.
A restructure to firm up the back line seemed to be an effective tactical change. The third quarter bought some excellent hockey, a long corner taken by Alfie found Jasper in the D, tapping it to Will who put the ball past the keeper.
Ops stepped up the intensity in the final quarter, the third goal came from a run from Alfie from the defensive 25 all the way to the attacking d, Alfie found Jude who had a shot saved but the ball was deftly put away by Alfie to make the score 3-1.
Ops put the game to bed with a hatrick goal for Will who pounced on a loose ball in the d following a goal mouth scrabble, effectively slotting the ball past the keeper to end the game 4-1.
The ops boys are now the last team from Kent in this national competition and down to the last 12 sides.
