The FOHC u14 girls produced a dominant display to beat a depleted but spirited Burnt Ash side 5-1.

Baltic conditions didn't deter the girls as Evie G's venomous early strike set the tone. The Ops fielding quite an inexperienced side started to move through the gears before Izzy P struck twice before half time as a result of some typically powerful running for which she's become known. Burn Ash replied with a consolation, half time 3-1.

In the second half the Ops really started to turn it on producing some free flowing hockey from back to front. Evie G went close on numerous occasions before the goals came, Izzy T scoring following some unselfish play by her namesake, before Izzy P herself completed a well deserved hat-rick. Final score 5-1.

Credit to the senior U14s for some very mature performances, superb marshalling of both their more inexperienced team mates and the game as a whole. Praise should also go to the collection of u12's who were full of energy and running throughout.

A great performance, attitude and team spirit. Well done all!
