An inexperienced u12 team put up a valiant and spirited display at the indoor hockey tournament in Canterbury. Up against elite opposition the girls, some of whom were fairly new to 'outdoor' let alone 'indoor' hockey never game up throughout. After three fairly one-sided games the girls produced a herculean effort in their final fixture narrowly losing 1-0 to Sevenoaks.

This tournament was always going to be a tough ask of these girls but they really should take heart from their final performance. Not once did their heads drop or their enthusiasm wane. Maintain this great attitude, add the application at training and there’s no reason why we can’t make some real progress this season!
