On a sunny afternoon with a chilly wind sweeping across the pitch, Ops W4 put in a strong team performance against New Beccs 1s. The match was closely contested throughout, with both sides working hard and creating chances.
The home team scored the only goal in the second half of the game with a lifted finish over the goalkeeper, leaving Ops narrowly beaten despite their determined effort.

A huge congratulations to Bella Gardner, who was deservedly voted shared Player of the Match in her very first appearance for the W4s. Lucy Stafford was also well-deserved voted for player of the match for her brilliant calling from the back and brilliant saves.

Lots of positives to take into the next game, and some things to learn.
