Ladies 3s travelled up to Tunbridge Wells this week for a what was expected to be the toughest game yet in the new league. Tunbridge Wells came out fast and hard winning a short corner in the first few minutes. Player of the match Ailla remained calm and composed keeping the ball out of the net. It was a very hard, fast-paced and competitive game against Tunbridge Wells, with both teams putting in an incredible amount of effort from the first whistle to the last. The game was full of intensity, determination and plenty of action, with a few short corners keeping everyone on their toes. Our defenders, Baxter, Em Mac, Em Line and Sophie K, worked tirelessly to keep Tunbridge Wells away from the goal. They made some excellent tackles, stayed organised and showed great determination. In midfield, Immy, Lauren and Sienna battled hard throughout the game. They worked brilliantly to win the ball, support the defence and help move play forward. Up front, Phoebe, Izzy, Polly and Scarlett kept pushing and looking for opportunities to create chances and put pressure on the opposition. Despite all the hard work and effort from both teams, neither side managed to find the back of the net, and the match finished in a 0–0 draw.
