With an army of supporters in tow, the boys put on a superb performance to beat Oxfordshire team Wallingford 9-1. Hatricks from both Will and Alfie Ball were added to with goals from Jude File, Jasper Carroll and Harry Rowe sealing the amazing victory.

A huge thank you goes to the U14 coaching team - Adrienne Rowe, Laurel Fry, Lorcan Doyle, Ben Taylor and Josh Bondzio. A mention must also go to the coaches who have helped the boys on their hockey journey until this point.

A massive congratulations to the whole squad for their incredible achievement! It was brilliant to hear the cheers (and the cow bells) from the large Optimist following of all ages. The fantastic hockey the boys displayed has definitely helped to put Folkestone on the hockey map!
