Hello Optimists! The 2022/23 season is upon us and therefore player annual memberships are now available to purchase on pitchero. This season sees some changes to the categories available for junior membership.

It is important for all members of the club to feel a part of the Optimist family and as such all players purchasing a NEW JUNIOR PLAYER (Year 2 – Year 13) membership will have CORE KIT included in their membership fee. This will help us to instil a sense of pride and belonging for all players as they become a part of FOHC.

If you are a returning junior member, you have the option to pay a NEW JUNIOR fee which will include the core kit items, or a JUNIOR RENEWAL, where you should already have all of the core kit items listed below to qualify for this option. If you are missing a specific item, please speak to Leon to order the required item directly.

If your child is in Year R or Year 1, club kit is not yet included in membership as we are fully aware that they are in a very much introductory stage to hockey. However, if you wish to purchase club kit, please speak directly to Leon at The Sports Hub - store@the-sportshub.co.uk

Once you have paid your membership on Pitchero, there will be regular club contact with Leon at The Sports Hub to confirm payment and you will then be able to speak to him directly and get your child’s kit order processed.

Sibling discount is available on request, after one full paying junior member – please email if you would like us to assign this membership option to your additional children. Please specify your child’s name, year group and NEW or RENEWAL.

Membership Cards will be issued once you are signed up, giving you a discount at the bar.
