AGM Thursday 7th August 2008

To all members of Folkestone Optimist Hockey Club,

The AGM has been set for Thursday 7^th August at 7.30pm in the Clubhouse and I strongly encourage you all to attend and actively participate.

The last year has been difficult for the club but the future is looking very promising with use of the new Folkestone Academy pitch promised in October and active discussions ongoing on improvements to the Cheriton Road site.

The Junior Section is flourishing and Liz Mainwaring and the Committee are actively seeking more senior members to get involved in the organisation. If you are interested please contact me on steve.shaw@british-energy.com.

Attached is a list of post holders that we require to be filled at the AGM. We have indicated current post holders but nominations are encouraged for all posts as we are at risk of ‘burning out’ certain individuals in the club. Current Nominations can be found at - More Details
